Charity
We are very proud to support ACE Africa, a registered charity working with remote and rural communities in Africa where poverty and HIV-infection are extremely high. ACE provides cost-effective, grassroots solutions, helping people help themselves.
ACE Africa’s aim is to reduce the impact of HIV and AIDS on the many thousands of orphans and vulnerable children living in impoverished regions of Kenya and Tanzania by improving community health, income, skills and knowledge through 3 key areas:
•Improving Community Livelihoods – training in organic farming and business skills
•Child Health and Child Welfare – training and supporting child protection services, providing HIV health education, counselling and special in-school support
•Education, Counselling and Emergency Aid – providing life skills, counselling and testing, and basic household needs for the underprivileged such as medication, food and nutritional supplements (produced by trained ACE community groups), shelter and school materials
Working with over 3000 community volunteers and collaborating with more than 60 government departments and NGO partners in Kenya and Tanzania, ACE Africa has provided life-transforming services to close to 300,000 vulnerable children and people living with AIDS since inception in 2003.
