was launched in 2009 by accessories designer Jo Kettle.  Jo’s love of the African continent evolved from many happy childhood holidays spent in West, Southern and East Africa.

After graduating from Oxford University, Jo worked in Malawi, South Africa and Uganda.  On a recent visit to South Africa she discovered some beautiful springbok skins.  These appealed to her artistic temperament and inspired her to design her own unique collection of handbags and accessories.

Ethical & Environmental Policy

All the hides that are used to produce the pinki! collection are sourced from game farms in South Africa which breed these animals for the food industry.  They are hand-crafted in a workshop which is committed to principles of Fair Trade with WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation) accreditation.  A viable re-use of natural resources, production of the pinki! collection is ethical, eco-friendly and assists the country’s indigenous rural development.

is the Swahili word for pink, Jo’s favourite colour!
