About pinki!

pinki! was launched in 2007 by accessories designer Jo Kettle. Jo's love of the African continent evolved from many happy childhood holidays spent in West, Southern and East Africa.

After graduating from Oxford University, Jo worked in Malawi, South Africa and Uganda. On a recent visit to South Africa she discovered some beautiful springbok skins. These appealed to her artistic temperament and inspired her to design her own unique range of handbags.

Pinki is the Swahili word for pink, Jo's favourite colour.
